Best time to change water.

So I have never really thought about it but what time during the day is the best time to change the water?

I didn't know if 10pm was a no no. Should I just stick to sunlight hours?

Time don't really matter, I usually feed my fish before a water change so they don't get stressed on an empty stomach

I have a rule where I don't make any adjustments or changes after 8 o'clock on my tank. No need for something to go weird on me while I'm sleeping.

I do mine once a week right now because I am performing a substrate change but normally every 2 weeks unless I have a algae or diatom bloom.

I have 58 gallons and change 10 gallons every 2 weeks.... Is it too much? I have 4 fish right now plus inverts,corals.
Maybe it's better replace 5 gallons every week? I there a rule for water changes?

I have a 40 and do 5-6 gallons depending if I get the salinity right on the first shot. Rule of thumb is approx 20%

No specific time, I just like to do mines during the daylight hours as the light helps lighten things up under my stand during sump maintenance. I do 20% water change every 2 weeks.

And FWIW - I do about 35g in my 120DT and 15g in my 60g Frag tank about every 4-6 weeks or if something starts not looking right. (or tests are off)
