best to set off or run slow at 10%

Hello Roger
I have two pumps 6105 and try to set one pump run a time at max and other at slowest setting possible maybe at 10-15% for 30min interval...Is it safe to do this way or set one pump at max and other at OFF position...

If you want to slow them down 30% is the lowest recommended percentage to run the pumps at.
