Best Tunze for my tank?

Hey Roger,

I have an acrylic tank with dimensions as follows: 60" by 14" by 20" high. I want to use your company's powerheads, since consensus seems to be that they are the best around. What type of setup would you recommend for my tank? I do have a 4" DSB as well, but i'm sure I can find a way to deflect the stream from the sand. I would like a high flow rate, with a controller-compatible system.

Thanks,
Rocky

I have over 100 lbs of rock as of now (probably about 130), and I think that's going to be all.

As for corals, I want no limitations. Keeping SPS is a goal that I have for the near future.

The electronic pumps are completely interchangeable, at least the new ones. Your tank is short and I think that it will be a complication to have a DSB, we are basically talking about a 14" water column. I think it might be possible to do with 2 Stream 6000's or 2 Turbelle Electronic 7400/2. Basically if you wanted to change the pumps within their type you just change the transformer and if you wanted to change from Stream to Turbelle Electronic or Vice Versa you would order a bunch of parts, admittedly this isn't the most cost effective but your tank is not going to be the easiest to get flow to. It is just short and the sand will be stirred up I think in most situations at least until it has been their for sometime. One possibility is to use the Stream 6000 and we get you a 90 elbow of the appropriate size to put on the front, unfortunately you will lose flow but my thinking is we could angle it up slightly this way. You could also do this with the new deco holder when it comes out.
