what's the best way to cut acrylic that will have a smooth enough edge to use cement on it after to attach to another piece? talking 1/4" thick acrylic at least

scoring with a acrylic blade or a saw?

saw is rougher on the cut but people seem to have mixed reviews on scoring. are there acrylic saws that cut smooth edges?

More blades the better! Water helps keep cool. Practice first to make sure. Acrylic specific is better but ridiculously expensive.

A regular 60 tooth carbide blade in the tablesaw.. Finish with a router bit to remove any saw marks if you want a "perfect" seam.. Or scrape the edge to remove the saw marks..
In general you can get by with just a table saw cut.. But it won't be as nice as if you router it..

scoring will NOT work at all..
