Posted this in my local forum as well. I am going to be transferring all my zoas from my high nutrient system over to my newely set up tank here shortly. Most of the zoas have algae at the base and i will be mounting them to a new sterile plug before entering the new tank. But im curious how i should remove the algae at the base of the zoas. Ive heard of peroxide doing wonders but ive never done it, dont know what ratio to use, and do t know if there is a better way to go about removing the algae. Thanks in advance, nathan

I think you have your solution. Just do half saltwater, half peroxide and hit the areas where you have algae. I would do it prior to moving them to your new system to make sure that the algae does in fact dies off.
