Best way to feed triggerfish?

I feed my pair of blue throat triggers Roggers Reef food. I place a chunk on a clip and they tear off as much as they want to eat. So the idea of not being meaty enough for them is not true. Also Roggers reef food will stay together if not eaten by the fish and does not disintegrate into tiny particles. Although this never happens, the food is usually gone within a minute or two of adding it to the clip.

I'd just feed chunks of seafood from the grocery store. Triggers are messy eaters and so you should give them larger chunks. They're not as bad as puffers, but pretty close.

I'd also avoid hand feeding if I were you - the more used to your hand they get the more likely they are to take a bite later on... When they get full sized they're big enough to fit your finger into your mouth and with the way those jaws are designed for biting...

Well, I have 5 small chromis in my tank and neither trigger has shown any interest. So I'm at the LFS and buy three blue eye thread fin cardinals. They've actually a little bigger than the chromis.

Added them to the tank three days ago and the Niger immediately took interest. He was chasing and pecking at them. The lights went out a few minutes later. I haven't seen them since. Two days of full light cycle and they're gone. 5 heavy feedings, and not one was in view.

Err....just hope the little Dracula didn't make thread fin soup. May have to relocate him if he's gonna be a bully/killer. Luckily, a friend of mine has a 200g FOWLR, but I'd hate to get rid of the little guy he has so much personality...he's my favorite fish. I do have a no bully rule in my tank though.

BTW I added a VERY small sailfin tang at the same time as the thread fins and he doesn't bother the tang.
