Best way to Frag a Chalice?

Generally chalice have very thin skeletons, you don't want to get under them and scrape. If you have a saw....that is best, if not a dremel works. With anything else they are going to be hard to frag cleanly.

Best Option: Band Saw with diamond blade, Second Best Option: Dremel with diamond blade

Quick cuts, try to mist spray with salt water while cutting to prevent over heating.

Oh and cut AROUND eyes and make sure every frag you cut has at least one eye for proper nutrient consumption, or else you are either going to have a dead frag or a very, very slow recovering frag.

I use a dremmel underneath right before it punctures through, and then a razor brade to cut the rest.

Saw or dremel are the very best options. Since I haven't had access to either I have allowed the chalice to grow off the rock and then I use bone cutters to cut. It is not a very clean way of doing things and I make sure to keep the frags in my tank until they have healed and start growing again.

I used my thumb and pushed. Frag is doing great along with the mother colony. These guys seem pretty high-tech, so their method may be better. Certainly more controlled. I bought one chalice frag from a guy who used a long piece of PVC and a hammer. Not the best method in my opinion but it worked. Good luck.
