The search function isn't working soooo....
I got an urchin as a hitchhiker on my live rock a couple years ago, it was really neat back then cuz it was so cute and small. Well, after a couple years, it's not so cute or small anymore. I'm pretty sure it's not predatory on corals or I would have seen some coral loss over the course of stocking my tank. The damn thing is just really starting to get on my bad side. Every night it seems I have to turn a frag or two right-side-up because over night he has gone through and flipped them over. Well last night I had to restle my PM frag away from him cuz he had taken it all the way over to where it hides during the day! I've had just about enough of his shenanigans.
My question, I've tried to get him out before But he sticks to things like freakin glue. Is there an easy way to get this guy out of my DT? Bait? Trap? Hammer and chisel? Jackhammer? Some kind of reef-tank-safe grenade? Anything? I know where it hides during the day, wedged right up into the corner of my overflow under a rock.
Thanks in advance!
BTW he looks like the ones we get of the coast here in cali but with less purple.
