Best way to hang canopy?

what would be the best product to use, to hang my 6 ft 25lb canopy above the new tank? i want to suspend it from the cieling but i also want it to look sleek and good. any good products or ideas?

if 4 attachments, then only about 6 lbs or so per hanger. not too bad

PFO (now defunct) manufactured adjustable hangar kits. Not many people know about these so you might be able to still find them. Two of their cables will support your fixture and they're height adjustable.

hmm sounds good, and of course NO CHAINS LOL thats gawdy. if i connect 2 wires, itd have to be at exact center of balance though right? thats why i was going for 4

I use the Sunlight Supply 2-Point Hanging Kit... it works great and adjusts easily.

hey john, how does the kit connect to the canopy or light....just making sure i can get this thing to work and hold good onto this canopy



and also this thing is 18" wide

yea wooden, 6ft by 1.5 ft

In that case, I don't think the cable kit I linked would work. I've never seen a wood canopy suspended but I'm sure that there is a way!

I like to the do it your self route. Get some wall anchors and hooks and then use some metal line from any hardware store, but that is just me.

If you have access to the area above the tank I am sure you could build this out for pennies at lowes.
