best way to remove an rbta?

Please, buying one from a friend but it won't let go of the rock, rock must stay intact and in original tank due to rock size, shape and location.

If you can lift it out of the water I hang it over the water and they usually fall right in. If you can't move the rock I've had luck using a turkey baster to blow his foot of the rock.

This one's foot is buried in a deep hole in the rock... The rock is the cornerstone of the current aquascape... Can't move it without totally tearing down the tank... Currently blasting it with a power head to persuade it to move...

Yup I was gonna say try altering the flow to entice him to move and try grabbing him at night when he's walking.
