Best way to remove large carpet anemone?

Its time for a change of scenery for my carpet anemone. It has been in the same location in the tank for 2 years, and I will be finding it a new home soon.
What is the best way to get the foot loose from the glass without damaging it?

I would not use a credit card.You could make a small cut in the foot and could mabey kill the anemone.

I would get some gloves on and gently begin to "tickle"the foot.After that if the foot does not begin to let lose I would go grab an ice cube.When useing the ice cube I would try my best to get the water around the anemone cold insted of haveing contact with the foot of the anemone.

PLEASE WHEN DOING THESE METHODS BE SURE THAT YOU USE GREAT CARE TO BE SURE THAT THE ANEMONE WILL BE SAFE AND WILL HAVE NO HARM DONE TO IT SELF.
