Best way to remove phosphates

If the tank you have now is a 24 gallon then you have to many CUC. And with only the return for water movement then over time you have collected tank waste which this feeds off off plus algea cant grow aswell with proper flow. Cooking rock only helps untill it grows back.
I think some good weekly water changes with more water movement and a better balanced CUC.

yeah, i learned that the hard way. My phosban reactor works great, but damn its a mess to change. The less I have to, the better off I am.

Sorry wasnt trying to be disrespectful. Just a question. The fact your in here means you care. Just checking if it was a typo.

FWIW

I have 13 years of diverse experience including working at an LFS and running my own maintenance company and I don't recall ever seeing the term 'CUC'.

Oh man, I just got done reading the last article, and now i'm sucked into this on.

Thanks for the great info Mike, and I agree with you, it's definitely important to read thoroughly before jumping in.

I find it hard to believe with over 1000 repleys you never saw the prefix CUC but no need to over express this fact. Not my fault you dont read threads mb you only start them.

You're kidding, right!?

BTW - it's nearly 3000 posts if you look at all of the reef forums that I participate in. Not that post count means a darn. Didn't you join in '06, hmm.

Please review the merit of my posts in this thread. I've posted a directly-applicable RHF article and a real world application of GFO. I don't know when to stop laughing about the fact that I've never heard of CUC.

You cant go 10 threads without seeing the CUC prefix. IMO. Many take me as town drunk so its your choice.

I also have never seen CUC. give this one up lance. i have been in this for a few years, and am obsessed, read tons of articles, and spend 4 hours a day reading and answering forums (since i can do it at work). CUC is a abbreviation that should be dropped, because its almost as fast to type clean up crew. wow that took .5 seconds.

Sorry.Theres a list of abbreviations used in here in the home page of RC or sorry Reef Central. Which im sure you missed also.Things lit DIY and LR and SB and CUC are all in thereso you dont try and disrupt another thread with mindless banter.

Banter. Is that like a small breed chicken? No thats bantum. I just was saying i have never heard of it, and i think that some things are turned into TXT message lingo too much. "Its my BFF Jill"-from commercial
