best yellow fish choice?

He is new..I got him from Serdar. He is gorgeous! Nutrition nutrition..good water quality. 2 things that are difficult to do at the same time, it takes diligence.;) Sorry for the crummy pics, working on some better ones.:)

Wow, beautiful fish. The female is more beautiful, but what fun to have a pair. Keep us informed on the bellus angel thread if he makes it. I've never heard of one living very long.

Sorry to get off your yellow fish thread, but the bellus angel is incredibly beautiful and hard to get.

Midas Blennies and Blue Spot Jawfish are two of my favorites...but be wary...they are notorious jumpers that seem to be able to find the smallest hole to sail through. They do have the best personalities and are worth the extra work to keep them secure. GL...the Foxface Lo is great as well...just remember the venomous fins...mine's got me a couple times and it isn't pleasant...but still a great fish!!!

Just an aside...many angelfish come in with flukes...I always freshwater dip them for a minute or so to see is any come off and then continue the dip if they do. I then do a saltwater bath in a mild Formalin solution (1 drop per gallon, be VERY careful not to od) for a couple minutes. I've found a much better success rate since doing this. GL, Marcye

blface: That is a really cool looking fish. What is it? I want 1.

It's a blue spot jawfish. It needs a DSB & a tight lid on the tank. It watches me as much as I watch it.

Well, there you go then. He is absolutely gorgeous but I have a shallow sandbed and run the tank open top. I'll stick with my little ycg :)
