Go from salt to fresh and be happy. Well happy for now, I have a 6 gallon Fluval Edge that I got for Christmas. Very neat tank, it is completely sealed except for one opening underneath the black cover you see. That is where the filter goes and the 2 halogen bulbs that light it. As for now it houses live plants and 2 bleeding heart tetras, 3 orange von rio flame tetras, and an electric blue jack dempsy.

Looks nice! I have done FW planted tanks and found that reefs were actually easier:D On that tank there, does it matter that it doesn't sit completely on the stand?

Yeah that's how they're made. The bottom and top are one piece. They're very neat looking tank cough cough and can make a great nano reef cough cough.

Nice tank. I have tried going back to fresh, but it bores me anymore.LOL Well good luck with it. Look really nice for a fresh.

Its only a temporary home for jack until I get his 20 long going. I just got the tank for tetras mainly, its all about what makes ME happy for right now and salt just didnt do it anymore. It's kinda like Top Gun when Tom Cruise lost Goose and was afraid to fly again, I will be a fighter pilot again someday!!!!!

These are very cool tanks and not a bad price...I am thinking that it would look great asa a nano on my desk........uh oh another tank don't tell the wife:thumbsup:

Wow those FW tanks are beautiful. WR 4 Cliff Hui is my favorite.
Angler try and make that aqualandscape. Then well all come over and admire.
I had read an article about Cheng Siu Wai and the tanks sizes used for these set ups are massive 300 gallons or bigger.

Well the start to my planted tank was the use of Flourite gravel which is rich with nutrients that the plants need, from there I may introduce some sort of co2 supplement. I'm going to set it and forget it for now and watch what it does, I have plans of another tank for my EBJD along with some other semi aggressive fish. I do plan on doing a tank with an angler in it as well so I do have a salt tank still, when this will happen I'm not sure.

Oh Dave as far as the floating effect I was wondering the same thing but it seems to be doing fine as far as support for the tank. Another neat find of mine was a small heater pad that goes unerneath the gravel, it is made by hydor but I use one in the princess reef and my tank and its great.

i dig those planted tanks. i always wanted to set one up, but it always comes back to the fish, i really enjoy the africans mainly from lake victoria and the peacocks from lake malawi.

cool tank.
