Beta of new Apex firmware now available!

Everything is working fine so far except for the date, it is showing October instead of November on the new dashboard. If I switch to the old dashboard it shows up correctly.
I can't believe I didn't notice that!!! :headwallblue: Same here. Oops! That should be an easy fix for Neptune to make...

One observation that I noticed"¦ and don't ask me why I tried this but the horizontal scroll is not possible via Safari on the iPad"¦ Scrolling vertically works perfectly just not horizontally"¦ Not a big deal with the Apex App loaded but just wanted to share what I found.

I still love the new firmware and web interface!

If I zoom in, I can scroll horizontally just fine.

I updated both firmware and web pages. Restarted the apex. Cleared browser cache and cookies. I get the new style pages, with the logo on top. Everything works fine except the dashboard. Its a blank screen. All of the dashboards. Status works... but no dash.... I redid everything twice. Nada.....

I installed the new firmware yesterday and was going to post it's all working great, but this morning the current Nor'easter took out our power, and the Apex has NOT recognized the power failure. Main pumps are killing my battery backup, so I had to turn them off manually. Lucky I'm home.

Everyone that is using POWER FAILURE to turn equipment off should check to see if the beta firmware is working correctly. Mine is not.

Side note, it wold be nice if the dashboard could also indicate the current status of main power.

cheers,
-joe

Just an update on this. Apex recognizes power loss when the Aquabus is unplugged, but not if the 12V source is lost. Paul says this will be fixed in release 4.2_BE.

If you are using the status of the 12V source to shed load off your UPS during a power failure, it will not work with release 4.20_BD12.

Russ. I am on IOS 6.01 also and have the same problem. It's not that it can't horizontally scroll, but more that it cuts off part of the web page on the right side. The part that it cuts off is not accessible. See the attached pic showing the switches on the right side that are cut off and cannot be accessed.

Ah! Yes, I do see that, now that I have put a tile over on the far right of my desktop display - it doesn't even show up on iPad in Safari.

Looking at the source code... no defined values for either:

* values <code>Scrollbar.HORIZONTAL</code>,
347 * or <code>Scrollbar.VERTICAL</code>,

Assuming java???

Laser - have you cleared the cache on IE9? Also, have you tried that URL from just a browser window, not via the Dashboard? Could it be waiting on a userid / passwd?

Alan- I did clear out the cache for IE9. When I tried the URL from a browser window I get the same thing - just picture and no video. I can get it locally if I go through the Linksys software. It gives a different URL and when input into dashboard it wont find it at all and display anything. If I type that URL into a web brower it goes straight to the Linksys software page and displays from there. I am sure it is a password issue of some type but cant see where to enter password. I cannot trick it in the URL as suggested above in IE9.

Russ has sent me link to working URL and I cannot view in IE9 so it must be an issue on my side for IE9. I do have the local stream through Chrome so that will work fine for me. Now I am trying to set up the remote for the streaming video for the new dashboard and am a little confused. I have tried the following:
1- created new dyn hostname for camera - http://laserscamera.dyndns.info
2- forwarded router to port 1023 for the camera
3- forwarded ports as described in manual for rtsp, http, etc.
What URL should i be using for the outside access with the Linksys WVC54GCA ?
Tried - rtsp://laserscamera.dyndns.info/1234 - no work
Tried - http://laserscamera.dyndns.info/1234 - no work

Russ - Tried rtsp://laserscamera.dyndns.info:1234 - wont work
OK. I have a dyndns hostname lasersreef.dyndns.info that I had been using for the apex and have it forwarded to port 8080.
I have created another hostname laserscamera.dyndns.info to try and get the video to stream. Did i incorrectly make another hostname? Or are you supposed to be able to use the same hostname as the apex?
