Better Cleaning Magnet than Flipper?

I hate magfloats, don't really work too well for me and I've had a few.

So far, the Flipper has been the best one I have used however mine recently broke when the dry side is suddenly all shaky inside. I want to get another one for another tank but before I do, I wanted to see if anyone has used anything better?

I found the flipper's steel blade really worked well against harder growth.

try out the Algae Free cleaner's, cost more but very strong and worth it IMO.

im tagging along because my father in law let me borrow his magfloat scrape and i found out the hard way why it is called scrape. That thing destroyed the inside of my glass with the stainless steel blade

I have tried so many different "algae cleaners" for the glass from the mag float, the flipper and finally found one I like - Algae Free Piranha Float Algae Magnet. It was recommended by MD when I was placing an order and the guy was spot on. It is a really strong magnet and the first cleaning I used a scraper for the really tough stuff and since then all I need to use is the Algae Free Piranha Float Algae Magnet. HTH.

i have never had to need a blade with this mag cleaner as it is so strong, however this blade is made to work for them

for a few bucks more you can get the Algae Free The Piranha Float which IMO is one of the best, but I have never used the flipper

I've only had the chance to play with the Flipper at MACNA but I love my Algae Free Hammerhead with the blade attachment!

Just wondering.Mostly just checking to see if you knew the difference. You never know with the kids nowadays. I got a few scratches in my glass, too. Maybe 2 for sure. I try not to see them.

I have been using a flipper and love it. The blade does not rust!
