Better for SPS

What lights would be better for sps, 4 bulb sunlight supply retro, or 4 bulb icecap retro on a 660 ballast?

I don't understand your question. Obviously the overdriven icecap fixture will be brighter than the sunlight supply. The icecap reflectors are brighter too. So if your question was which light puts out more PAR or brighter light, the answer would be the icecap.

However, depending on the size of your tank and placement of your corals, either one could work. The icecap ballast will also burn your bulbs out faster and so you will replace your bulbs more often with the icecap.

For not understanding the question you answered it quite well. I admittedly do not know a whole lot about t5 retros, hence the question. I was under the impression that tek and icecap reflectors were equal in quality. For about the same price, the icecap retrofit set up seems like the way to go for me.
