Bi-color Blenny

They usually have a favorite hole/rock that they will hide in. I have some black flex tube in my tank that he hides in. I have had to take him out once or twice and when he when into that hole I just put a net over it and removed the rock or tube.

David, you just seem to have a way with fish that like to nip SPS, Lamarck, Chromis, BCB, amongst others. What are you doing to twist these poor fishes minds? ;)

LOL Skip. I think the chromis was clkwrk. I had the Lemarck, a 6-line that nipped at only one awesome stylo, and yeah - now the Blennie. I also had a Kole that would nip around SPS and pester them, or if there was a dead tip with a little algae, he would pick at the algae, which really pestered the SPS. Last night the BCB decided he liked a piece of PVC that only had one open end. So I put some epoxy on the top and trapped him. Within 5 minutes I put a ziploc on the other end to get him out (was on tank floor) and he came out dead. :( He ate the epoxy and died. Poor guy.

On a bright note - I took pix of the underside of the Gomezi last night, as you could see the bite marks. 12 hours later and the blue "flesh" is already starting to re-cover the white. Man SPS sure are tough. I have seen two European folks say that an angel in a SPS tank can be good, it can actually stimulate growth. I thought Tanu was one but could be wrong (TOTM winner).

like i said, i'll keep an eye out for bite marks but am really not too worried as he has plenty of other stuff that he enjoys eating. i leave little patch of algea here and there for him no nibble at, then when a new patch has grown i scrub off the old one..... keeps him and the PBT quite happy
