bi-colour angel question

I'm considering adding a bi-colour angel to my system. I've done some research that says they can be kept in multiples in a 'mid size system'. Appreciate any input regarding how large a system is required in order to keep multiples.

Thanks

I'd not do it in anything under 75-90 gallons. Preferably larger.
I'm new to the species, I admit, but this is based on what I've learned of other Centropyge. Bicolor does seem less aggressive, but I wouldn't trust them with each other. If you do, buy mixed sizes to start with..

Is this for 180 mixed reef? If so, I would be pretty nervous about it --- out of the dwarf angels, IMO, the bi-color is the worst when it comes to being housed with corals.

The addition of multiple bi-colors should present no problem (if added at the same time). But....as Todd stated, they are not coral friendly and most if not all will start munching away.

I had one, and it would nip at my duncans to the point that they were so retracted that I thought I lost them. It also nipped at my zoos that I thought were goners. It bit off the snorkel of my nassarius(SP) snails. Needless to say I wanted to get rid of it fast but the LFS that I bought it from tried to play dumb and deaf when I asked if I could bring it back and get something else.

Not for the 180gal. I'm considering an upgrade on the 55gal and would put them in there if I can manage a large enough tank. If not I think I'll just get one. Not worried about the coral, as the 55gal is just a 'spare coral' tank anyway and has mostly GSP and the like.

I think 55 may be a bit too small for it. If you upgrade to 75 it is probably ok for one. I wouldn't try a pair in less than 90, the 75 can be too tight for the "bonding" process.
