I don't know about all Blennies, but I have never had any problem with Midas Blennies nipping coral or clams.

The Ecsenius species are grazers with a mouth designed to scrape film algae. Due to that they are also likely coral nippers like many grazers. Meiacanthus species are primarily planktivores and as such rather unlikely to pick on corals.

I have a tailspot, and he doesn't ever bother anything. Just hangs out in different holes in the live rock. Doen't bother Zoas, Clams, SPS, LPS.

I am having a little trouble with my Lawnmower blenny nipping at my Monti's and acans. The other day I saw him messing with my featherduster. I was shocked about this one.

I wonder if this applies to the Blenniella genus, as they have similarly shaped mouths and have the same behavior eating algae.
