Does anyone have, or know someone who has zooplankton/live pods for sale at a good price? I am looking to seed my pod population in my tank.

Everything in the LFS's and online is pretty pricey for what you get

Thanks!

Growing pods right now , maybe a week and I should have plenty if you just want a jar of them to seed.

Man, that would be great, but I think you are a bit too far for me. I am in the Cleveland area and I think Youngstown is about 1.5-2hr drive :-(

I was looking for some a little closer

I appreciate you responding though

No problem. I'll be going to the csea frag swap if you change your mind. Otherwise I think aquatic tech might have them.

What type of pods do you have growing and do you have any listed for sale on ReefTrader for the CSEA swap?
It's a mixture of pods tisbe, and tigers. I just grow them for my own use but thought I'd offer them up for the request.

Pods

Pods

We culture parvocalanus, apocyclops, tigropius, moina salina, amphipods, and brine shrimp

The first 2 are for larval culture and wont survive well in a tank
tigropius will live in your tank but don't usually multiply.
Moina and amphipods can multiply.
