I was peering into the 120 from an odd angle last night and noticed this big blakc crab claw reach out and grab some algae. I got up for a better view and this thing is about 2" in diameter, all black, with just a little hair on its legs. It has cupped claws, so it isn't necessarily a bad guy (Mithrax-ish), but I suspect it has been munching on some of my prize zoas (mowed down a patch through the middle of my Devils Armors...couldn't find anything else munching them and they look fine now, so it seems feasible). I don't want to spear him (and not sure I'd ever get the chance), but how can I get his big butt out of there? I've got a baby cinnamon clown from Matt in there (and a bigger lady) and it has had no issues, so I don;t think the crab is a threat, except for a few polyps here and there. I'd like to put it in a specimen tank. Any ideas on crab traps?
