Big Bubble

what water parameters do bubble coral and elegance coral prefer?
alk, pH temp, salinity

assuming calcium and mag are at 400 and 1300 as seawater norms.

My specific gravity is 1.025, PH 8.3, Temp fluctates between 78 to 84 degrees (summer). Nitrates are at least 10 ppm.

Bubbles are very light tolerant according to Eric Bornaman's book "Aquarium Corals." They use their vesicles to adjust to different lighting situations. In low light the bubble will be larger and smaller in high light. They can also be collected from higher light evironments. Since you have no way of knowing where they came from the best bet is adapting them slowly as elegance coral says. I still don't think that what we call low light and low flow in our aquariums equates to low light low flow in the ocean.
