Big huge needle idea's? Want to kill my weeds!

So I have these crazy blue purple/blue mushrooms that are growing in my tank. I also have some bright red/orange ones. I really need to exterminate them but the syringe that comes with joe's juice is small and weak. Where can I get a big one from with a big open needle that will fit kalk paste through it no problem? It needs to be sharp so it goes into the mushroom and actually works. Any ideas?

I really wish there was a fish that would eat mushrooms. I would not care if it was crazy ugly I would have 2 in my tank. Mushrooms are the devil! lol.

check out the grocery store and look for the injectors they use for turkeys, that is a big sharp needle that can push most anything

i was at ACE hardware and saw just the thing for you. Im sure its meant for turkeys or something.

im in the same boat (or vette per your avatar) my red mushrooms are getting out of control and stinging everything. i cant believe I actually paid money for these things

I'd take some off your hands. Ph swings in my tank killed off most of mine.

I use a carpet syringe, you can get one from Jon Don in Medinah.

You don't need a big needle....I have Blue mushrooms in my main display tan and have kept them under control for 10 years + , so they don't take over the tank. Using Joes Juice lay a heavy dose right in the middle of the mushroom (ie mouth). this will kill off that single mushroom in 24 hours. This method has worked for me everytime. HTH

So your saying a chocolate chip starfish will eat mushrooms? If so what else will they eat? What are the drawbacks?

I dont stab it with the needle....just lay the kalk paste/Joes Juice in the center of the mushroom and it will burn up and die off.:lol2:
