To all my Finned friends,

Two Weeks from today I will be starting a new job that will be a blessing to both me and my family. It will mean more home time and more time to devote to the hobby. the ONLY downside to this is it is 1 1/2 hours from our house in Murfreesboro. while we love where we are, and love our home, we will be forced to move so that I can be close to the family. yes, that also means moving the old 75 gallon tank one more time (already moved it 4 or 5 times). This time however seems to be different. I have ben given permission to purchase a new tank for the new house. It will most likely be 48" long by 30" wide or somewhere in that range. SInce we are basically getting a fresh start on life or a new book chapter, so will the tank. Once our house sells, I will be selling EVERYTHING in my tank except for my fish. they will get to move with us as the whole family is attached to them. Heck I have had two of the tangs for over 4 years, and with the exception of a few , the rest are several years in the house.

I will not be posting prices or even selling anything yet, but I will be selling whole colonies and all the rock. I will however expect clippings back from them when the new tank is ready. I have learned tons over the past 10 years of the hobby and feel I am ready to start a perfect tank instead of modifying mine to make it better.

Yall, please pray and be thinking of us in this time of stress. we really need to sell our current house. IM ASKING WHAT WE PAID FOR IT! so.... If you know someone who wants a great house, with a great yard, in a great neighborhood for a great price, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!!

Wow, Lindsey! Congrats on the new job!

When is all of this happening? And which direction are you moving toward?

I may be interested in your 75g, depending on the timing. We're moving about an hour, too... but toward Nashville. :)

Well, I have been traveling so much, I havent had much if any time for the tank, so it is not looking as awesome as it has been. I need a new RO filter, and some DI resin, and let my salinity get a wee bit low so I had a few colonies die off. I's slowly bringing it back into check and will have it looking much better here in a little bit.

as for what I am going to sell, The tank may have to come with me in the beginning to house the fish in. once I have the water good in the new tank, it will be all yours. I will keep the lights and the pumps, but the tank, sump, plumbing, stand and hood will be going, along with ALL of the rock and corals. I may try to keep the frogspawn and hammer as they are just way to rocking to let go.

as for timing, I start my new job may 3rd. hopefully we sell the house by june and move down the first of July. It may be sooner depending on if we can get this house sold!

Im sure we all wish we could enjoy having some fins from time to time. Speaking of new tanks as I did above, Aside from GC, anyone else do custom tanks? looking for something about 48x30x18" or so.

i gotta 55 u can borrow. why not build your own tank.

i have a machining background. i don't own a mill or lathe tho. i did buy myself a 12speed drill press we can put together a makeshift mill out of it. using a diamond wheel we can precision cut the glass. and yes i have a background in such work. have not worked with glass on a mill b4, but i completely understand the principles of such work. i have recently blown my wad on a 32X42 polebarn tool shed misc place 4 the tractor and what not. if that was not enough i bought a tractor less than 1 month ago to almost completely deplete my cash pool. money is a little tight now but you only live once eh? then 2 put the icing on the cake ive got the reefer madness. lol. seriously thinking bout gettin sum zoa's 2day to break the ice. will be my 1st taste of the drug that is the drug of choice on r.c.
