Congrats! Yeah, i'm sure you will upgrade eventually, and regardless if its a boy or girl, i'm pretty sure they are both capable enough to do water changes ;) just joking. Anyways, keeps us informed!

congrats on the the frag.

kids are great
when you can give them back

but im sure youll love fatherhood and watching the frag grow and grow

best of luck to you and the wife during the fun prego time

watch out for cravings if she wants icecream you better be ready to go get her icecream

Congrats! Kids are awesome! Nothing can explain the way you will feel when you see that baby...NOTHING!

...and just FYI...I have 2 boys and then the youngest a girl...she wears pink and LOVES her daddy to coach her soccer team and is the best tree climber AND fisherman in the family!

You'll want a boy, but I bet you'll fall in love with whoever shows up with the first peak of the eye! Just be ready for that!

I was changing my infant daughter who was ill with diarrhea and vomiting. Just as I lifted up on her legs to wipe her off, she let loose a liquid missile which hit the wall 5 feet away. My Siamese cat, which always sat on the changing table observing, gripped the table's pad and threw up all over my daughter, who then proceeded to throw up on me. I got the dry heaves, and my wife almost died laughing when she walked into the room to see what the commotion was.

Yeah I am definitely looking forward to either one. Thanks everyone

Bodacious congrats to you too.

My wife's company has an awesome deal. We were planning on using the FMLA but it just didn't register when I read your post.

Bodacious, she should be coming up to the golden time, if she's lucky, the morning sickness will stop after the first trimester. Then she'll have 3 months of feeling great and not being huge...then it is downhill. :)

Remember these words Fathers-To-Be: If Momma ain't happy, no one is happy.

Oh, and get the epidural. (For HER, Silly!)

hey congrats... chris , being a father is the easiest and hardest job to have at the same time and its the best. to bad they grow so fast and become teenagers. kicked myself for 2 weeks formissing out on your tank. good luck.

Where you supposed to come see it? If you want you are more than welcome to come by whenever. I love visitors.

She has already talked about the ever elusive epidural. So I know she wants it and is prepared to get it. She has read through about 4 or 5 books. We have a list of names that we are considering for a boy or girl. She read the books on planning to be a parent, expecting parents, food for expecting parents, and about every other topic for this stage.

Congrats Chris!!

As for your room I have two ways, my first way was finding the pictures of dinosaurs and saving them on my laptop, I then attached it to projector and airbrushed over the picture that was on the wall, That was my oldest Son's room when I was in Dallas.
When we moved here he had a fondness for baseball, what I did here was find a picture I wanted in a magazine and drew grids on it, then on the wall I lightly drew the same grid pattern just that the magazine grid were like 1/2' squares and I think the wall ended up being about 8" squares, then you basically just draw what ever is in the grid which makes it much easier. Then paint

Good luck with your project, as an FYI, the grid way is faster and the air brush way to me was cleaner but both came out good, I had 2-5 foot dinosaurs and a 6 foot baseball player hitting a ball. I free handed additional items at each time but that was just me having some fun to try and still prove that I used to be able to draw.

congrats chris! sounds like you'll be childproofing your current tank rather than upgrading to a bigger one. you could always go to the wife with the angle that an in-wall will be needed before the kid becomes mobile! although, if i had your setup the gf would probably say having everything under the stairs was close enough.

kids..... who knew there was something more rewarding than a tank upgrade!:D

my buddy jon really wanted a boy too. his daughter brynn was born yesterday at 4pm:lol: judging by he and his wife's glowing faces, i'd say you'll be thrilled either way!
