Big Problem: Nobody wants a condy.

Ok,

I just got off the phone with every lfs I know of and none of them will take my condylactis anemone. "They eat fish and we have no place to put them" says the LFS. No kidding! Thats why I want to get rid of it. I have lost $30 in fish in 3 days. Anyways, I am considering moving it to my FO tank with a Lion, 2 tangs, and a betta under 4 65w pc's. I dont think this anemone could take down any one of these fish. My question is, could I be wrong? What should I do with this thing.

Well who knows if the anemone will harm any fish in the other tank, there not any one in the local club to take it? If not there always the round fileing cabinet! LOL
JK not sure what to tell u my friend!

Research the animal before buying it?

Not really, I have had it for over a year and like all newbies, I didnt research anything back then.

OMG:eek2: shame on the aquarist for saying to kill the condy. Regaurdless of how much the condy cost its still a living thing. It is not the condys fault the aquarist didn't know the condy likes to eat fish.
You could put it in its own tank set up or the FO tank like you said. It is possible the condy might eat your tangs but I am sure the tangs are smart enough to stay away from the condy.:)

I got lucky and my LFS took my condy back after I got it back to good health. It was well mannered, didn't eat my fish or sting anything. Got $10 for it. :)
