I was removing the rock from my 37g and my son yells "Daddy, there's a snake in the tank"

I look and there is the biggest bristle worm I have ever seen. This thing is well over a foot when stretched out.

I jumped when I saw this thing.

Is it a bad one? The picture doesn't show it but it's darker than the others I've seen.
