Big Toadstool Leather not so big after tank swap??

My Toadstool Leather was about 12-13" tall and was under PC lighting in a nano. I recently moved it to a bigger tank that has VHO lighting and after a week of being in the new tank it is still only around 5-6" tall and a darker color.

I'm wondering if they adjust their height to the amount of light that is available? Or is he still a little shocked from the move?

hes still just acclimating himself to the new lighting and conditions. he was stretching to reach the light under the pc's. but now that he has better lighting, theres no reason for him to be stretching so tall hence the change in color as well. mine is short and fat under halide lighting. as im sure u know, they like a good amount of flow, but not being blasted. keep an eye on him though, just in case.

It just got through shedding and it looks really good today, just a little stumpy.

It actually had more direct flow in the nano because there was no where for it to go. I've got a Hydor wave maker and two Koralia 6's so the tank has pretty good flow.
I was so excited to see this big sucker in my new tank and now he shrank...
