Hello everybody, I am fairly new to the hobby and am looking for a aquarium to start off with. The guys at the pet store are suggesting a bio cube, but wanted to refer to the group prior to any decision. Any advice is welcomed

Biocube would be a great start!! All in one system, no plumbing needed for a sump, small water changes, filtration housed in the back. You can't go wrong imo.

Some people like them, some people don't. Only thing I don't like is if you want to upgrade equipment you're fairly limited on what you can do.

I like my cube, their great starter tanks. They can be limited on what can be done because of size. Mine is heavily modified, my rear chambers act as a sump with reactor lines, skimmer, return pump, media rack, probe holder, and heater. Everything that was stock is removed.

There are plenty of biocube builds in the nano section if you want a better Idea what can be done with them.
