Bio Cube 14 Parts?
Bio Cube 14 Parts?
Hi gang.
Today I picked up a used (but cheap) Bio cube 14 gal.
Their is no tank damage but it does needs some work.
1. I would like to replace the 2 LED night lights..weak lights
2. Replace the cracked clear plastic cover that goes over the lights
3. Replace a broken fan
Do you guys know were can I get a hold of these parts?

Orangetruck94-if you can find a number i e-mailed them about a noisy fan on my GF's BC14 last month and havent heard anything back(i actually forgot i e-mailed them till i read your post) ill prob try e-mailing them again

I have heard they have been extremely helpful via phone calls. I would suggest you try that avenue because they have a very good reputation for replacing those components quickly and without hassle. It may just be that e-mail is not a good way to communicate with them. Just trying to be helpful.

Just installed my Stevie T media basket. Carbon on the bottom, Purigen in the middle and filter floss on top. I guess I was expecting a tighter fit. Seems like most of the flow will short circuit around the basket. Path of least resistance. I am wondering if I can seal around the top to force the water to go thru the media.

Call Oceanic C/serv. they will replace all these parts for free. I would recomend to buy the fans at Nanotuners they have better flow and are quiet.

Thanks for the info.
I just ordered both fans from Nanotuners....I also ordered 2 Nanocustoms bulbs. I hope they are good.
I will call Oceanic shortly.
Those bulbs are supposed to be nice. If you could have waited a month, I would have advised it. The new PC-R bulbs they are getting have internal reflectors, produce 40% more par then the stockers, and are plug and play.

Yes PC-R are very nice! Do you know if UV Lighting to only company thats going to sell them?

its the nano 425gph model should be going in my 29g but i may eventually upgrade to something more powerful
I think the nano Koralia is more than enough for a 29gl. Unless you want unhappy coral with a higher water current.
