Bio Spira + Live Sand = Insta Cycle?

I find that biospira or dr. Tims usually converts ammonnia to nitrite pretty quick but the nitrite usually still takes 2 or 3 weeks to convert to nitrates to finish the cycle

24ish hours after dosing ammonia. That's a pretty quick nitrite jump

I cycled my tank in a week just using Bio-spira and live sand. Nothing else is needed.

Samesies. Mine took 11 days to polish off all the nitrites. But it's only ammonia that hurts fish anyway.

+1 on proceed slowly so that the bacteria can catch up to the additional bio load.
