Biocube 29 HQI DYI help??

I have the AquaticLife 115 skimmer its in the 1st chamber. Because of the skimmer the cover does not sit flush. I was wondering if anyone has cut a square on that cover to let the skimmer cup sit outside and make the cover flush?? If so can someone post a pic so I can see how it will look.

Have you already cut a notch in the rear right where the tank mount goes already? Right next to the cable hole.

Edit: actually since you have an hqi it might be different. Do you have pics of it right now?

No pic of it now I'm stuck at work. I would much rather be home lol. In the HQI it has two small plastic covers that cover up the rear three chambers. I know a lot of people use the same skimmer that I have and to make it skim good it won't let that cover sit flush.
