BioCube 29

Hey, does anyone who has a biocube 29 gallon ever notice that the top doesn't sit tight on the top of the tank? There is a slight gap in the front of the tank where the top and tank meet...about 1/16 of an inch...probably just obsessing about it...

Also, where should the water line be in respect to the back wall divider? Mine is about 1/4 inch from the top (w/o stock carbon filter). With the filter, less then a 1/4 inch...

I think if it sits on top without being cocked to one side, or doesnt let light spill out, its good to go! Also, with the water level, as long as you cant see the top water line looking into the tank(did that make sense?) then the water level is ok.

The lid on my 29 is warped, so that kinda leaves an unsightly gap.

my lid is the same I am obsessed as well since the light shows through. I stack up a few of my fish books without covering the fans and it seems to help...however, I've seen pictures by others in the posts and there are some with a tight fit.

I just took the top off and went to the 20' HQI 150 sunpod and I love it and my temp went down.
