Biocube 32 led filter

Hello, Happy New Years to everyone (well soon anyways). New to the forum and I am looking for a little assistance. I recently got a Biocube 32 LED and have been trying to research what I should use in the media tray. It only came with a "filter cartridge" but no other chemical or sponge media. I have researched but there seems to be a wide range of stuff used by different people. I am looking for suggestions on a good and simple media starting point to get the tank up and running.

I will start the tank with LFS purchased "live sand", base rock to keep initial cost down and don't want to risk bad hitchhikers. I may purchase a smaller piece of live rock to help seed. I will ultimately keep just a couple fish, CUC, and some corals that will work for the stock lighting.

Any help pointing me in the right direction of what chemical media to use (and how?) would be much appreciated! Thanks and have a great day!

I tend to use what is needed and like the flexibility of having a small reactor in chamber 2 ...most of the time I run a mix or rox and gfo
