biocube 8 lighting discussion and questions

Ok just picked up an 8 gallon nano and I am toying with some lighting ideas. I am going to be using it as a frag tank. It comes with 2 18watt (1 10k, 1 actinic) pc lights. I know that it is fine for most but Im looking to just add some more light so I can keep the higher light requirement items also. Eventually I want to throw on a 70 watt hm but I have to find one first. What do you guys think. Anyone know of better blubs to replace with or should I just add a stirp of leds or what. Lets sort of stay on a budget here. Threw in some pics of how its gonna go.

Oh I have some magneting frag racks for the sides so there will be lots of rack space... (as much as an 8gallon bc can have anyways.

Yea that was my first thought but I'm looking to not do the whole led thing yet. I have a led retro in my 24 gallon nano cube. I just wanted to add like a strip or bulb or something. Not the best with DIY leds either.

ecoexotic panorama strips! I'm using the 12k/blue and magenta/ blue on my tank that is cycling now. On a 8g I'd try just one and you could always more later

thanks, not running a skimmer or anything except a couple pounds of live rock and power heads and water changes. (for now) We will see. I little ways off because I still need to get some sort of stand and some other things like most all bsic equipment.
