BioCube back equiptment?

I have a 29 BioCube and was wondering what people are putting in the back of the tank equipment wise. I have a skimmer, but it does not seem to be doing that much good. Thanks!

Aquaticlife 115 or tunze 9002 skimmer
Intank media basket with your choice of media (floss, carbon, purigen, chemipure)
There's also an intank fuge
