BioCube Firehazard Question - Fans

Both fans in my BioCube burnt out after about a month of operation. About three week ago I sent an email to customer service and today, gladly, two fans showed up at my door.

After disassembling the hood to install the new fans, I discovered that they are larger than the originals, probably for something other than the 8 Gallon BioCube I have.

One of them though fit, and turned on just fine when tested. My question is though, will it be a fire hazard running the higher amp fan off of the circuit board that is in the 8 gallon hood.

The old fans were 12 V 0.08 A.
The new fans are 12 V 0.15A.

Any thoughts? Thanks ahead of time.

I'm not an electrician, but it seems to me that the increase amp fan will not be able to pull a higher amperage than what the stock equipment can supply. To me it just sounds like it will not run as strong as what it is rated for since it is running off of the same voltage.
