BioCube Question

[Aquatic Reef Creations]

For any of you Oceanic BC owners out there, are you using the intank media basket, fuge basket and water director?
I have a couple of questions about them, such as dimensions of each. I am thinking about building these DIY instead of buying but would like the dimensions of each.

Media basket and fuge basket here. The water director is an easier buy

I loved the media basket. If you had the stuff laying around you could build it but if you had to buy the materials your better off buying from them. Was really well made.

I spoke with Matt but need to find out dimensions. I can but new for around $90, but if I can build it cheaper..... Always looking to DIY when I can. Besides, this was a free set up. I have ordered replacement fans and I'm looking into changing the stock lighting

the stock lights on my 14 gallon biocube I used to keep Acans open brain wellsos and Montis. colors didn't pop the best but I would still recommend changing to led if possible that tank with power compacts just got too hot

I ordered replacement fans for the hood. The ones that were in it weren't working right. I am looking into the LED route for this tank. Trying to decide what to do with it. I have looked online for several of the modifications for this tank. I ordered a clip on LED light for a fuge light for chaeto, but still need to get/build the baskets for that. Still need to get the dimensions to determine if it will be cheaper just to order the already made ones.

Hey I passed by allpets pines earlier this week this thread came to mind when I saw this on clearance I don't know the dimensions biocube takes compared to innovative marine but it's worth a shot prices 29.99

Thanks for the info. I think that I may end up selling this off. While I would love to keep it, I just don't have the time or space for another tank. I have it all set back up now running with live rock, sand, a clean up crew. A few of the live rock pieces have some shrouds on them. I picked up a spare hood with plans of maybe retrofitting an LED light into the hood. Also received the replacement fans and installed them as well. If I didn't retro the LED, I was going to cannibalize the extra hood and incorporate the second set of PC lighting into the existing hood.
