biopellet reactor maintenance?

I've been using a BRS biopellet reactor for a few weeks now and I noticed that my tumbling has decreased considerably. I pulled out the maxijet 1200 and cleaned it and then restarted the reactor, but my tumble hasn't improved. My outflow seems to be the same, but it's hard for me to tell for sure. Is there some other maintenance I need to do in order to keep this thing flowing properly? It's only been online for 2 months at the most now.
Any help would be appreciated.

i run a simlar set up and actually run a bigger pump because i found the 1200 to be to small. i run a quiet one 2200.

the brs isn't the best for bp. doesn't tumble well. needs big pump.

the reef octopus brs sells is much better for tumbling bp.

Try checking the mat at the bottom of the reactor, mine clogs once in awhile.

Also check your output tubing; I had a problem with it filling with bacterial slime and lowering the flow considerably.
