I am currently in the first week of utilizing BioPellets on an aquarium that will be an SPS Domininated Reef. I have been told about issues with Alkalinity being high and the detrimental effects it has on SPS Corals. What issues have other Reef Keepers run into and any resolutions to resolve them? Thank you in advance for your contribution to this thread.

I dont want to be a jerk but somebody told you in your other thread how to find you answer. Now to be nice this could help you a little:

I'm not sure how long have you been keeping a reef tank but I suggest researching before trying anything. Good Luck

Yes someone did point out how to search for it, but those articles don't tell me individual experiences with BioPellets outside of the Alkalinity issue, which is why I made the thread. Thank you for the link to the article.

Randy Holmes (Reef Chemistry Expert) kind of refutes the theory that higher alk while using biopellets causes tissue loss. If I have find that thread I'll post it.

Old thread but I can attest that every time my alk goes over 9 dKH I get RTN/STN... EVERY TIME.....
