Birdsnest and Montis suffer, acros and milles look great??

Thought I would throw this question out there because I can't figure it out. This has been going on for a while now, but it seems like all my birdsnest corals and montis have been suffering for some time, yet my acros look really good with great polyp extension. I always thought acros were the more "sensitive" corals.

My green birdnest is typically the most sensitive, and what I usually see is burnt tips, and reduced polyp extension. I wasn't too concerned until recently my BOP colony started to do the same. My monti caps are generally lackluster, and greyish in appearance. They also look dull. Seems like my setosa is unaffected. I have a large sunset frag that I've had for a while now that goes through periods of looking great to grey out and even get an area of recession in the center.

Tank is a 30 gallon bare bottom. Lighting is a 250 Radium about 10" AWL, and 2 Kessil A150 deep ocean blues for actinic. I run the kessils for about 8hrs, and the halide I just reduced from 5hr to 4hr. Flow is borderline ridiculous in the tank, but my acros seem to love it.

Tank has an ATO, I drip kalk opposite my photoperiod and hand dose 2 part twice a day. I also add some form of supplement at the end of the lighting period. I use some Pohls when the colors get light, otherwise use CV, Acropower, and sponge power a few times a week. I also dose a vinegar and vodka mix when I get home from work, which I have been told is on the low side (2mL/day of a 8:1 vinegar vodka mix). I also run a small amount of GFO in a reactor.

Parameters are as follows:
Alk: Try to maintain between 7.5 and under 8. I've noticed in the past when it climbs above 8, these problems exacerbate.
Cal: 420
Mg: 13XX last I checked, but I don't check often
Nitrate: 2-5
Phos: .03-.06 ( I recently bottomed out to 0 about a 2 months ago, but since increased feeding and its back to the range above.)

I thought maybe potassium was at play so I bought a kit and it was around 420, checked several times over the last few months and its been pretty consistent.

Waterchanges once a week with RSCP. I usually let it sit for a few days to let the alk settle down, but been meaning to change. Been using this salt for almost 2 years.

I was thinking maybe my alk bouncing around, but it seems like its pretty stable, and none of my acros are affected. Even have a few deepwaters (red dragon, Hawkins, etc) that are fine.

Any suggestions? Will try to get some pics soon. Thanks.

I've had the same experience. I have better luck with some acros than a simple birdsnest. Some of my more experienced club members have told me that is not unheard of. Some of them, in fact, keep birdsnest as a "canary in the coal mine" meaning that problems in the tank typically present with the BN first.
