Birdsnest: Expanding polyps, receding tissue?

I've been battling dino and am finally getting the upper hand, but this sps is still receding. The confusing part is that polyps extend day and night.

Should I frag?
Maybe superglue the receding zone?

Frag as much as you can and super glue. Makesure the superglue comes in contact with at least a little flesh as that will inhibit any skeleton being exposed and further receding.

How about doing that without breaking it? Just use superglue at the skeleton/tissue boundary where it is.
