Birdsnest help

So i've had this birdsnest for about 5-6 months and i've noticed that it's starting to bleach and flake away from the tips.. My levels are as follows

Mag: 1400
Alk: 9dKH
PO2: 0
Cal: 475
pH: 8.12
Nitrites: 0
Nitrate: 15ppm
Ammonia: 0
Salinity: 1.026SG

For me my bn are sensitive anything that's changed in your tank recently may have caused this .... At a time my nutrients got to nothing and the bn was the first to get unhappy ... I'm no expert also I assume they will say your nitrates are a little high?

Same thing is happening to my pocis. Alk 10, cal 450, nitrates up to 15. All other lps is happy. Large water change, changed carbon. Hoping for the best.

Well I did a 15gal water change today so hopefully when I get home things will start to settle down.

Funny you should say this. I just got to the point in vodka dosing where my nitrates dropped down below 2ppm. Green birdsnest (15cm) colony just belly upped. I tried fragging it and have failed miserably. I now have 2 stalks of it
I've cut back the dosing to the half dose

What kind of lights are you running and how far down in the tank is it?

The poci still appear to be on the downslope. All other lps and most sps look ok. Guess I'll just wait it out and hope for the best.
