birth of 2 builds totaling 30k gallons

Dread im getting info on the exact specs of control system. Other people asking. Allmost sure come dn from toronto one day when this is near done. Ted did you see that guy who built that 20 k gallon tank and the pvc ladder. Nice swim. I like the room that guy has behind his tank. I dont have that. Just a cat walk with3 ft clearance. Its going to be tight up there

Hey Andrew,...have you figured what your going to use for flow inside the tank. I was wondering if you ever check into those marine bow thrusters? I know they will move left and right, and I think they tilt also to help with docking. They are 12v but controlled manually so they would need to be automated.

I compare this build of epic proportions to owning a 60'+ yacht AND a racing power catamaran. Both need knowledgeable crew with specialized skill sets. I can't imagine that you will have much time freedom to thoroughly enjoy them unless you have at least 2-4 full time experienced helpers focused entirely on maintenance, observing and caring for the inhabitants. That will give you the choice to be as involved as you want while still giving you the freedom to just chill and enjoy. Also like boats you should have redundant systems in place for pretty much everything. I'm sure you have already thought of all this, but having enough of the right kind of help will make all the difference on the enjoyment ratio.

The pictures of the tank and rocks (boulders) really put things in perspective. Super cool you are going to have a tank you can snorkel in!

Premilove huge bolders are going in now but not decorated. Then smaller rocks over the top. With ladders or cranes. We will decorate after sealed. Plenty of room and comfy in there.
