Bivalve ID needed

this photo was posted on a local reef page and it was said that this is a living bivale that has grown over a 10 year period to the size that it is now. can anyone give me a possitive ID on the species of bivalve this is?

If that's a saltwater tank, it's probably a Hammer Oyster. There are some unrelated species that look similar but live in fresh water.
