BK mini 200 2nd gen or Alpha Cone 250 ?

I have a decision to make: BK mini 200 2nd gen or Alpha Cone 250 ?

which one is the better skimmer? My system will be about 275-300g mixed reef. any suggestions which skimmer to pick?

I agree, the Alpha 250 would be the way to go. The Mini 200 would probably give about the same, or a little more performance than the Alpha 170.

For a 150g system I would recommend taking a look at the Alpha 170 or Alpha 200, depending on stock load. Or if you need the small footprint of a Mini take a look at the 180 or 200, again depending on load.

Alpha 250 for me. it is in the sump already.
