I have gen 1 BK mini 200. I am at least the 3rd owner. At some point in the past the red dragon died and was replaced by a Laguna Max Flo 1600. I ran it like this for about a year until the pump stopped working. I replaced it with a reef octopus 4S. That really worked much better, but isn't a straight fit. I only used the 4S for 2 months before I shut the tank down.
The center of the collection cup is removable which is really nice.
It did an awesome job on the 135 I had.
