Picked this up today. The dealer said it is a black and pink acan. Its not a great picture, I took it from my phone so it does look a lot better in person. Is it considered a black acan? And is it as rare as he says it is? I also picked up this nice little prizm brain. What do you pepps think?

Black acans are very rare, and I am still not sure they exist...have not ever seen a real one, or a picture that was clear enough to convince me.

Looks like a standard dark red with some pink and blue. The new polyp is also a good indicator.Cool acan, but wouldn't call it rare. Any better pics?

Doesn't look very black to me. Hows it look in person, is it really black or dark red/purple? Tell your dealer he needs glasses.......

Unless this colors down a lot, this would be enough for me to switch to a different LFS if possible. I would be annoyed that he would lie to me about a color.

I've seen a black acan in person. It did not look like this. Was just plain black. Nice acan you got. I hope you bought it because you like how it looks. that's always a good reason to choose a peice.

i have seen a black acans in person and it was as named....black. there was no pattern on the rim. it was just solid black under whites, blues and combo LEDs.

ok let me rephrase the rim was black the mouth i believe was yellow. this vendor was at the last two frag swaps if he is at the next one at the end of april and has some more i'll grab a pic. it was ironic cus im trying to fill my tank with color and hes trying to sell me a black coral. it proved to me how we are the most retarded "keeping up with the Jones's" consumers in the world. that and the 1/4" x 1/2" frag of yellow leptoseris on sale for the low low price of $550.00

OK, here it is. This IS NOT my acan. Its a stock photo of an acan being sold for big money off of a dealers website. It is what "they" call a black acan. After comparing the two, it is fair to say that mine is not a true black acan. But here is the real mcCoy
