I'm curious has these 2 colors together. I am also wondering what ther offspring would look like. It could be cool to see.

they would be the same i think. But take the dominate colour. Maybe someone can tune in and correct me if im wrong.

I think you would end up with a mix of both. Different traits would appear differently in each fish.

Just like you and your siblings. While some of you have the eye color of your mother, others may have it of the father.

I have a mated pair, the female is orange/white and the male is black/white. They spawn every 10 days. My oldest clutch hatched about 10 weeks ago and it's too soon, of course, to tell what color they will turn out to be. Here's a thread showing some progress of the pair and their fry:

I posted the same question several months ago and got all kinds of answers. So, I'm very interested to see how they will turn out. One trait I notice on all the fry is their black pectoral fins. I need to update with recent pictures since they are developing more black coloration on their dorsal and back fin.

That is AWESOME! thanks for the link, subscribed

I had a pair (blk occ/orange occ) but I got kinda bored, (they wouldn't host) and swapped out the orange with a GSM! It was a risky/ballsy move, but just think how cool it would be if they spawn! so far, so good
we'll see.

CONGRATS! I'll bet they get really black over time. Do any have the "orange face/dark body" like juvi black&whites?
